The system can be equipped
with the positioning module, including
a state of the art 15 channels GPS satellite receiver, (that measure the localization with high accuracy taking care
of the position within the 10 meters in normal conditions of
geometry of the satellites), integrated with an high stability
piezoelectric gyrometer and with the odometric signal caming
from on board cabling. The on board data processing allows to
determine the vehicle geo-referenced coordinate through the
“data fusion” information process, ensuring the data
availability and reliability even in case of temporary
degradation or absence of the GPS satellite constellation.
The positioning module is equipped with an active
tri-band antenna (to be installed outside the vehicle),
predisposed for the connection with the GSM/GPRS modem, in
order to supply the following informations:
·
Vehicle positioning Coordinates
·
Precisione of the coordinates
·
Estimated Vehicle speed
·
Vehicle heading
·
Cumulated Vehicle distance covered

Operation and
Diagnostic Vehicle data collection
|
The VIDACä Logical Unit, is predisposed for
the data collection of the informations of the Vehicle
Operation and Diagnostic, through the opportune connections
with the other electronic units, or directly with the on board
analog and digital instrumentation.
Particularly, VIDACä is predisposed for the interface with the following
kind of vehicles:
·
Electric traction vehicle of
any manufacturer
·
IRISBUS vehicle equipped
with Multiplex unit.
·
Other manufacturer Multiplex
equipped vehicles, prior adaptation of the VIDACä communication
protocol.

The transported weight survey it’s realized through
the air spring pressure signal analysis, traced by high
quality pressure sensor, inserted
in the pneumatic circuit suspension arms.
The vehicle can be equipped
with additional sensors for the predictive diagnosis of the
deterioration of the sensitive installation including:
·
Engine radiator input fluid
temperature
·
Engine radiator output fluid

On board of the vehicle, the communication is handled
from a dual band 900-1800 MHz GSM data/ SMS /GPRS modem unit, provided of electrical
and mechanical particular characteristic, to be compliant with
the specific needs for heavy vehicles applications. The modem
is predisposed for the thelephony communication through voice
unit or external earphone.
The voice communication system connected with the GSM/GPRS
modem consists in:
·
Two-way audio amplifier
·
Pole Microphone
·
Loudspeaker
The Short Range Data Communication System allows the
wire-less communication of the vehicle with the ground network
at the return in the Depot. The System is based on the
standard industrial BlueTooth technology, operating on the
frequency range between 2,4 and 2,483 GHz, divided into 1 Mhz
channels, employing the FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread
Spectrum) technology, that allows more users to share the same
frequency array. The communication system it’s designed for
to work even in presence of strong interference, magnetic
fields, radio signals, or RF frequency, and it’s not
troubled by obstacles or interposed objects.
Furthermore, the on board SRDC module allows the
synchronization between the user information ground system (intelligent
ranging rod), traffic lights preference system, and road
access control system.
The VIDACä Logical Unit can have inside a
Class 1 SRDC
Bluetooth board, compliant with the Bluetooth 1.1
specifications, with range more than 100mt (20dBm), and
transmission speed up to 720 Kbit/sec in asymmetric mode. The
internal module it’s equipped with coaxial
cable and remote antenna to be installed inside the vehicle.
Where it’s needed short range data communications after the installation on board of the vehicle of a base VIDACä unit, without the internal SRDC module, it’s possible to
install the external SRDC module, connected via serial RS232
port, allowing a data transfer speed up
to 115 kbit/sec.
intellibus can be equipped
with an auxiliary driver terminal that allows:
·
Numeric Keyboard data insertion
·
Precodified messages send
and receive with the Operating Center;
·
Voice call request with the
operator of the Operating Center;
·
communication to Driver of
the Assigned Operational Program and
of the beforehand/delay condition as regard to the
Program;
·
send to the driver several

intellibus is able to handle optical and sonorous units, for to
spread of dynamic information in real time to average edge. In
particular the system can be equipped variable message panels
for the spread in visual shape, and of electronic system of
digital text to speach for the spread in sonorous shape of
predefined messages (Stopped Next Warning) or eventually
transmitted by the Operating Centers.
The synchronization of the messages in function of the
position of the vehicle, means the assigned distance assures
the maximum reliability of the information also in distance
shunting line case.
The
Emergency Call Pedal, to be install in protected position in
order to avoid unintentional activation, allows the automatic
Emergency Call to the Operating Center.
